CLINICAL FELLOW (ST1-2 EQUIVALENT) IN RHEUMATOLOGY, RENAL & HAEMATOLOGY MEDICINE

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust are welcoming applications for six enthusiastic and highly-motivated Clinical Fellows (FY2-ST-2 equivalent) for full-time, fixed term positions providing clinical support at Hammersmith Hospital. The positions will rotate twice a year between a combination of Rheumatology, Renal and Haematology Medicine. The positions will be available from August 2018.
The successful candidates will join our SHO rotas, of which Rheumatology contributes towards General Medicine out-of-hours cover, and Haematology and Renal have dedicated specialist rotas. Rotas will be banded at 1A or 1B depending on the specialty. Clinical Fellows will be involved in all aspects of patient care, with duties on the wards, in our day care unit and in outpatient clinics. Successful candidates will benefit from consultant-led education and supervision, and will be keenly supported in their professional development. On joining the department, there will be opportunities for teaching and training, as well as to be involved in research and rotational experiences with other departments on the Hammersmith site. This role post would be suitable for those at FY2 and CT level and would provide an excellent foundation for those interested in a career in Hospital Medicine, as well as GP trainees and those looking to broaden their experience more generally.
Salary: £30,605 to £40,491 pa
