The Respiratory Institute’s Department of Critical Care Medicine is recruiting for senior and mid-career critical care attending physician at our 64-bed Main Campus Medical ICU, one of the largest ICU in the U.S, and our 7 regional hospitals ICUs. As a national leader in healthcare, the Cleveland Clinic serves as an excellent opportunity for candidates with interest and strong prior experiences in areas of clinical and basic science research, Clinical Informatics, Quality Improvement, and Medical Education. The position provides unique opportunities to work with a large team of outstanding critical care providers, to participate in and develop research programs (We are the coordinating site for the NIH-Funded PETAL Network Ohio Clinical Center) and to foster the education of over 36 fellows each year. Key skills for the position include significant prior experience and expertise in one or more areas of: 1) leadership and management of multicenter clinical trials, research protocol design and development, and NIH-funded grants; 2) development, testing, adoption and implementation of health information technologies, data analytics, and clinical decision support in critical care settings; 3) supervision, support and mentorship of faculty and fellows in clinical, translational, or basic science research. Program leadership opportunities are available for qualified candidates.
