This appointment would be expected to work closely with the Professor of Medicine todevelop the academic unit at St James’ Hospital. St James’ Hospital is the largest teachinghospital in the Republic of Ireland.

Eligibility Criteria

Registration as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Registrar of MedicalPractitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland in the specialty ofGastroenterology and General (Internal) MedicineAndTwo years postgraduate training and experience in GastroenterologyTo be eligible, applicants must be registered as a Specialist in the relevant Specialty onthe Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the MedicalCouncil of Ireland within 180 days of the day of interview. Should the successfulcandidate not be registered as a Specialist at that time, the post may be offered to thenext suitable candidate
