Job description

The appointee will be responsible for: 

  • CT – the post is a replacement post. The role will include a lead role in advancing the CTservice. 
  • Participation in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) Conferences and take responsibility forthe maintenance of appropriate liaison arrangements between radiology, physicians,surgeons and other specialties 
  • Undertaking teaching duties and partaking in undergraduate and postgraduate trainingas required. 
  • Engagement in clinical audit, risk management and quality assurance programmes inthe Hospital’s. 
  • Maintenance of patient records and to supply such reports and other information asmay be required by the Hospitals with regard to specialty activity. 
  • Participation in integrated audit and teaching activities as required. 
  • Support and develop research in the specialty 
  • Provision of support to the Director of DIAGIM in the development of the specialty, inline with the strategic objectives for the Hospital, to assist in delivering patient care
