You will be joining us at an exciting time - Our next projects include supporting our Emergency teams in transforming the current stroke pathways after significant investment to build a new emergency department; moving to a fully integrated system of care with emergency care being provided at the earliest opportunity, as well as meeting new national standards.

We have already established great foundations on which to evolve, with an end to end stroke pathway which includes Hyper Acute Stroke Unit, Acute Stroke Unit, Stroke Rehabilitation ward, 7 day TIA clinics, and Community Stroke Rehabilitation teams, as well as a close working relationship with the Universities of Southampton and the Wessex Cardiovascular Network. We are also forging new links with Partners on the Isle of Wight and the University of Portsmouth in our quest to make our vision a reality.
