In our Medical Clinic II, patients with diseases of the digestive organs and the liver, tumors and diseases of the blood, diseases of the kidneys, metabolic diseases and infectious diseases are treated competently and according to the latest standards. Every year we treat around 3,000 patients. The Helios Klinikum Meiningen GmbH has established itself as a focus for pancreatic diseases in southern Thuringia. Gastroenterological 1,200 endosonographies with high diagnostic and therapeutic expertise are performed every year. The chief physician of the department is nationally known as DEGUM stage III examiner and spokesman of the DEGUM working group on endosonography.

Care of inpatients and outpatients,

Training and guidance of physicians in further education in cooperation with the chief physician,
