At the 2nd Medical Clinic, more than approximately 4,000 patients are treated inpatient with diseases from the entire medical spectrum, including gastroenterology and hepatology, gastrointestinal oncology, rheumatology, endocrinology and diabetology. All interventional endoscopic procedures are carried out as part of the focus on gastroenterology. The state-of-the-art endoscopy is equipped with high-end technology including diagnostic and therapeutic endosonography, capsuleenteroscopy, single-balloon enteroscopy, ERCP and state-of-the-art functional diagnostics. More than 8,000 endoscopic examinations are performed every year.

Your tasks

Your tasks as a consultant is the holistic, medical care of patients in the context of interdisciplinary cooperation.

An exchange of knowledge and competences for the promotion and training of our medical assistants and students is a matter of course for you.

They work in inpatient, day-patient and outpatient care. After appropriate training, you participate in the on-call service.

Your profile

We are looking for an open-minded and team-oriented personality. You should have a degree in internal medicine and a completed or near-completion subdivision of gastroenterology with experience in interventional endoscopy and experience in intensive care medicine (continuing education authorization in gastroenterology).
