The Helios Klinikum Erfurt GmbH is a maximum care hospital and academic teaching hospital of the University Hospital Jena. Vocational development and change opportunities in the hospital are constantly present because of this diversity.The newly opened Spinal Surgery Clinic, which opened in October 2012, AO Spine Center since January 2014, covers a wide range of services in all sections of the spine. The focus of spinal surgery is the endoscopic minimally invasive treatment of fractures, inflammation, tumors and herniated discs. Diagnostically and therapeutically, the range of services includes intervertebral disk surgery, decompression with constriction of the spinal canal in all sections of the spine, vertebral body replacement and instrumented stabilization of the spine including thoracoscopic vertebral body replacement in prone position. Furthermore, intervertebral disc arthroplasty in the cervical and lumbar region and correction of malformations and misalignments are performed. Special areas of the clinic are in addition to the surgical treatment of fractures.
As a Doctor in further education you will have a holistic, medical care of patients within the framework of the interdisciplinary cooperation, according to the current standards as well as the cooperative co-operation with all departments of the house and the resident physicians. Your task is also the cooperation in inpatient, day-patient and outpatient care. You are responsible, enthusiastic and enthusiastic. They have a flexible working style and a great interest in continuing education and training. We expect the willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation with all departments of the house, in particular the Department of Orthopedics, the Department of Traumatology and the Department of Neurosurgery. You have a high level of commitment and are able to work in a team.
