Specialty Doctor for Plastic Surgery

Job description

Applications are invited for a Plastic Surgery Clinician to join a dynamic team of Plastic surgeons based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary. The department consists of six Consultant Plastic Surgeons with specialist interests in Micro Vascular Breast reconstruction, Hand Surgery, Skin Cancer and Trauma surgery. We also treat burns patients on facility level. Our catchment population includes, Leicestershire and parts of Linconshire and Northamptonshire, serving a population of over one million.

Applicants must have full GMC registration.

Previous experience within Plastic Surgery is essential.

The successful candidate will be required to participate in outpatients clinics and Plastic surgery theatre sessions, including complex reconstruction lists. There is an on call commitment, and you will be required to cover on calls on a rota basis.

This post is fixed term for 12 months in the first instance, with a view to extend.
