Senior Program Manager for Health Research (50 %)

Job description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Senior Program Manager for Health Research (50 %) to shape an initiative at ZHAW that aims at increasing visibility and outreach of health-related research.

This challenging position includes the following scope of activities:

• Lead communication of research projects addressing industry and the general public
  
• Set up a network for health-related research with other relevant players and organize events
  
• Collaborate with scientists and Marketing and Communications within ZHAW
  
• Coordinate and manage a project incubator
  
• Support the scientific committee in managerial tasks
  

The successful candidate will have a passion for research and experience in promoting science. A scientific education and a background in a health-related field are required. 

The candidate demonstrates strong communication skills in English and German language and in the use of up to date channels for dissemination. Experience in managerial activities in a scientific initiative is highly appreciated. 

The ability to manage office related activities and project management in a lean way is vital. The position will involve travelling within Switzerland to a minor extent. 

The contract will be limited but may be extended to a permanent position thereafter.
