GP Vacancy, Part or Full Time

Salary: £85,000 pro-rata

Larwood Health Partnership has an exciting opportunity for a GP to join an “Outstanding” practice and develop new skills whilst being supported by an established team.

We are looking to recruit an additional GP, salaried initially with potential progression to partnership.We have a strong record of successful recruitment, with each new GP having a mentor and named secretaryand the opportunity to develop roles.GPs are supported by an excellent team of experienced managers, nurses and staff.

We have 3 aims: Staff Support, Better Patient Outcomes and Efficient Ways of Working. We want a GP with the same vision to help us provide excellent medical care.

Company Description

We have in excess of 32,000 patients over 5 sites in North Nottinghamshire (2 town sites and 3 village sites). Although we are a big practice and focus on the needs of local people, we are a strong supportive team which includes practice pharmacists, paramedics and nurse practitioners.Unless there are exceptional circumstances GPs tend to work on one or two sites.We work in partnership with community nurses and the voluntary sector.We also provide protected learning time to attend local education sessions and provide opportunities for our GPs to develop specialist skills.

We have a strong record of innovation and have successfully implemented the AskmyGP system which has improved access for patients.

We have GP representation in commissioning and ACP at board level. As a practice we are able to influence the local NHS at district level and much wider.

We are rated Outstanding by CQC in 10 out of 11 domains, have been awarded the RCGP Quality Practice Award and are an Advanced Training Practice, providing training at all levels within primary care.
