LOCUM CONSULTANT IN UROLOGY

We require a Locum Consultant Urologist within East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust from August 2018 for one year initially.

The post will be part of a dynamic team of Urologists who provide a cross-site general urology service to East Sussex patients at Conquest Hospital in Hastings and Eastbourne DGH, and a pan-Sussex complex robotic urology service. The post holder will be expected to support the continuing clinical developments and medical leadership alongside existing Consultants and specialist nurses as part of the multi disciplinary team approach to care. He/she will provide general urology services to enable the waiting time reduction plan. Any subspecialist interests to complement the department are encouraged.

East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has a population area of approximately 500,000 and is committed to developing high quality services to our patients and this post will form major part of a timely urology service delivery within the Trust and will be proactive in developing service improvements.

Transport connections are plentiful with good rail links to London, to Europe via the Channel Tunnel or Eurostar and to international airports.

FRCP (Urol) or equivalent & appropriate experience is essential. Salary is based on national Terms and Conditions as per new Consultant Contract.
