We are recruiting a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in Body and GIGU Cross-sectional Imaging.

The post holder will join an established cohesive team of radiologists supporting clinicians and delivering acute and elective imaging in both specialist areas and in general radiology. Offering cross sectional skills in GIGU and Oncology, UHL is a tertiary referral centre for GIGU cancers and supratertiary referral centre for HBP and Urology. The post holder will join the existing on call rota, approximately 1 in 9 delivering acute imaging to UHL. 

A major refurbishment programme of all Trust MRI and CT scanners has recently been completed ensuring the latest technology is available. 

The service has strong links to academic and other radiology departments; the opportunity to be involved in research is available for interested candidates. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and clinical governance.
